You will enjoy exploring our trails year round. An ideal ski season is from late November through April when our snowy trails are groomed for classical and skate skiing with a Pisten Bully 100 groomer. We also have a network of popular snowshoe trails. From May to early November, join other hikers who have discovered the natural beauty of our trails.

Our chalet is the social hub of our club. Come and enjoy our friendly hospitality. The kettle is always on! Everyone is invited to our potluck suppers, non-competitive timed events, moonlit snowshoe hikes and all of our programs and socials. Visit this site often to find out what’s new.

Hours of Operation:

  • Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (during ski season)
  • Closed Mondays and Tuesdays except for chalet bookings

My father and I stayed here on a drive on the Trans-Labrador Highway in May 2016. we were very pleased with our room: a large executive guest room with two beds and a refrigerator, on the ground floor.

I’ve tried to book here in the past but it’s always full! Now I know why, it’s a perfect place for business travellers. Rooms are modern with large soaker tub. Very comfortable. Lady at the front desk is a sweetheart.

My business travels take me to Happy Valley Goose Bay quite often throughout the year. The Royal Inn & Suites is my preferred choice of stay…The suites are extremely clean and include many amenities.

Very modern and clean accommodations in a central location. The suites were lovely, large kitchenettes, multiple bedrooms, sofa beds etc. Staff was super helpful. Managed to squeeze me into a blocked schedule.

The staff are great! The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Conveniently located. Tasty locally baked fresh breads, muffins and the Royal’s very own coffee blend is a great starter to the day. An easy place to stay for business or pleasure!!!!

All the staff are very helpful. I had a standard room. It was clean, warm and comfortable and I was surprised to find some nice little extras such as a coffee machine, a toaster and a table chairs.

Our room was a king suite and it was incredibly clean and spacious. The shower was amazing – stand up stall with tons of different jets and even a seat! Complimentary breakfast was perfect for our needs – bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, etc.

I was impressed from the moment I walked into the building. The lobby was bright and welcoming. The breakfast area looked newly renovated with stainless steel appliances.

We toured 5 provinces (8000 km) in 14 days including our main goal of driving around Labrador. Of all the hotels we stayed in this was the best!
