On March 14, 2022, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will be lifting many of its pandemic  business restrictions. We continue to monitor the situation concerning COVID-19 and are making regular adjustments to our operational  protocols based on the most recent information available. We are committed to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff are top priority.  Below you will see an updated list of operations beginning March 14. Increased Sanitization

We will continue to maintain our increased frequency of sanitization in all areas of the hotel, with special attention on high touch points such as door handles, common areas, etc.

Complimentary Breakfast

We are pleased to announce that our buffet-style complimentary breakfast will be available in the lobby starting March 14, 2022, from 5am to 10am daily. Guests are permitted to sit and eat in the breakfast area.

Physical Distancing & Good Hygiene

We encourage guests to maintain a distance of 2 meters from other hotel guests and staff. Guests are encouraged to wear non-medical facial mask coverings in the hotel lobby, shuttle, guest laundry, stairwells and anywhere that physical distancing is not possible. Also practice good hygiene by washing your hands frequently and coughing or sneezing into a tissue or your elbow.

Fitness Centre

The Fitness Centre is now open to guests with no restrictions and keys can be picked up at the Front Desk.

Hotel Shuttle Service

Our shuttle service is back and available on demand between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. To reserve a pick-up or drop off please contact Guest Services or request ride when making your reservation. It is recommend all passengers to wear non-medical masks while in the shuttle and that they disinfect their hands with hand sanitizer (provided) upon entry.  The shuttle is cleaned regularly.

I’ve tried to book here in the past but it’s always full! Now I know why, it’s a perfect place for business travellers. Rooms are modern with large soaker tub. Very comfortable. Lady at the front desk is a sweetheart.

Our room was a king suite and it was incredibly clean and spacious. The shower was amazing – stand up stall with tons of different jets and even a seat! Complimentary breakfast was perfect for our needs – bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, etc.

All the staff are very helpful. I had a standard room. It was clean, warm and comfortable and I was surprised to find some nice little extras such as a coffee machine, a toaster and a table chairs.

Very modern and clean accommodations in a central location. The suites were lovely, large kitchenettes, multiple bedrooms, sofa beds etc. Staff was super helpful. Managed to squeeze me into a blocked schedule.

My father and I stayed here on a drive on the Trans-Labrador Highway in May 2016. we were very pleased with our room: a large executive guest room with two beds and a refrigerator, on the ground floor.

My business travels take me to Happy Valley Goose Bay quite often throughout the year. The Royal Inn & Suites is my preferred choice of stay…The suites are extremely clean and include many amenities.
