Dear Royal Guests:

The safety of our guests and staff is always a top priority. We continue to monitor the situation concerning COVID-19 and are making regular adjustments to our operational  protocols based on the most recent information available. We remain open for business with increased sanitation and protection measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.  We continue to follow all advice set out by the Government of NL Chief Medical Officer.

Newfoundland and Labrador is currently in COVID-19 Alert Level 2. Given this alert level, please note the following:

Use of Non-Medical Masks
Masks covering your mouth and nose are required at all times in hotel common areas and when going and coming from your room. Non-medical masks are not a substitute for physical distancing and good hygiene. Guests are encouraged to follow proper physical distancing and hygiene practices at all times.

Increased Sanitization
All rooms are deep cleaned between guests. We have increased the frequency of sanitization in all areas of the hotel, with special attention on high touch points such as door handles, common areas, etc.  We are utilizing electrostatic sanitizing sprayers and have partnered with Ecolab for hospital-grade cleaners, which are approved by Health Canada to kill viruses such as COVID-19. We have removed all paper materials, accent bedding and accent pillows from all rooms to allow for proper sanitization.

Complimentary Breakfast
We have temporarily discontinued our buffet-style complimentary breakfast and have a boxed breakfast and coffee available for pick-up from 6am to 10am at the Front Desk. Guests are not permitted to sit and eat in the breakfast area.

Maintenance & Housekeeping Requests
Please note that only urgent maintenance requests will be addressed while a guest is checked into a room. Guests will be asked to temporarily leave the room before any urgent maintenance work can be completed. Housekeepers will not enter a room while a guest is present.

Hotel Shuttle Service
Our shuttle service is available on demand between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Early mornings, evenings and weekend shuttle service for groups of 3 or more is based on availability. To reserve a pick-up or drop off please contact Guest Services at the Front Desk or request ride when making your reservation. It is required that all passengers wear non-medical masks while in the shuttle and that they disinfect their hands with hand sanitizer (provided) upon entry.  Only one person/party can be seated per row of seats. The shuttle is cleaned regularly and Guests must load and unload their own luggage.

Travelling from outside of Newfoundland and Labrador
The province of Newfoundland and Labrador has mandated that anyone arriving from outside the province, regardless of location, must self-isolate for 14 days. Individuals are required to travel directly to their place of self-isolation and not permitted to stop anywhere. Because of these requirements, we are unable to provide accommodations to those needing to isolate for the safety and protection of our guests and our team.  If you have a travel exemption, proof of exemption will be required prior to check-in.

Fitness Centre
The Fitness Centre is now open. Access is limited to one guest or party (individuals staying in same room) at a time, and the key may be picked up at the Front Desk.

Luggage & Packages
Unfortunately we are unable to store luggage or hold packages for pick-up for hotel guests at this time.

Physical Distancing & Good Hygiene
Please maintain a distance of 2 meters from other hotel guests and staff.  Also practice good hygiene by washing your hands frequently and coughing or sneezing into a tissue or your elbow.

Please be advised that the images used throughout this website and our marketing materials may not reflect the latest guest experience such as physical distancing in public spaces, usage of non-medical masks and changes to hotel amenities to remain compliant with current COVID-19 protocols.

I’ve tried to book here in the past but it’s always full! Now I know why, it’s a perfect place for business travellers. Rooms are modern with large soaker tub. Very comfortable. Lady at the front desk is a sweetheart.

Our room was a king suite and it was incredibly clean and spacious. The shower was amazing – stand up stall with tons of different jets and even a seat! Complimentary breakfast was perfect for our needs – bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, etc.

My father and I stayed here on a drive on the Trans-Labrador Highway in May 2016. we were very pleased with our room: a large executive guest room with two beds and a refrigerator, on the ground floor.
