We are very excited to reveal a new art installation at our hotel today entitled “Nanuk” by NunatuKavut Artist Kayla Bridget Williams-Maclean.

Kayla is the owner and creator of Sandwich Bay Studio. She is a freelance artist, illustrator, designer, and mom and has been creating art since she could hold a pencil. Kayla loves painting images of her home in Cartwright, animals and other fantasy scenes from her culture and upbringing. Be sure to check out this beautiful piece the next time you visit.

What a gem of a place!! Beautiful spot with a great outdoor area surrounded by mature birch trees for a relaxing setting. The staff are very, very friendly quick with a smile and helpful. The rooms, lobby, and exterior are very clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows are comfortable. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel for your next stay.
